Composition:
After reconstitution
Each 5ml contains:
Ampicillin as Trihydrate B.P - 125mg
Cloxacillin as Sodium B.P - 125mg

Pharmacological Action:
In the combination each active ingredient maintains its own spectrum of activity. The meningococcus, pneumococcus , gonococcus , and List.This combination is stable in an acidic medium and is adequately absorbed after oral administration. Absorption of the combination is more efficient when they are taken on an empty stomach.

Indications:
Mixed infections where organisms are susceptible to the combination of Ampicillin and Cloxacilllin. Respiratory tract infections, Septicaemia, Soft tissue infections, Pelvic infestions, Endocarditis, Skin infections, Ear infection, Urinary tract infection, Gastro-intestinal infections, Orthopaedic infections, Throat infections, Nose infection.

Dosage and Direction for Use:
The average adult dose for  mb-clox  is 2 to 4 g in divided doses per day.
Preparation of the suspension:
To make up to 60ml suspension, add pre boiled and cooled water up to the mark, invert the bottle and shake until all the powder is dispersed.

Dosage:
Adults and children over- 10:10 ml of 250mg per 5ml suspension every six hours.
Children 2-10 years – 5-10 ml of 250mg per 5ml suspension every six hours.
Children up to 2years – 5ml of 250mg per 5ml suspension every six hours.

Storage Instructions:
Store in dry and dark place preferably at temperature below 30·C.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Presentation:
Mb-clox 60ml dry suspension available in pet bottle and packed in unit carton.
