INDICATIONS:
Dysen is indicated for the treatment of Intestinal amoebiasis, Hepatic amoebiasis, Giardiasis, Urethritis and Vaginitis dur to Trichomonas vaginalis.

Dosage And Administration:
The dose should preferably be taken during a meal.

Acute intestinal Amoebiasis and Giardiasis:
Adults:  Single dose treatment of two Secnidazole tablets (2g).
Children: 30mg/kg body weight as a single dose.
Hepatic Amoebiasis (5days treatment):
Adult: One and a half (1 1/2) tablets of 1000mg (1.5g) as a single dose for 5days.
Children: 30mg/kg body weight once a day or in divided doses before meals for 5days.
In suppurative hepatic amoebiasis ,Secnidazole therapy should be complemented by abscess drainage.
Urogenital Trichomoniasis and Bacterial vaginosis:
Single dose treatment of two Secnidazole tablets (2g).The male partner should also be treated with the same dose.

DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF DYSEN SUSPENSION:
Loosen the powder by shaking the bottle. To prepare 30ml oral suspension, use provided measuring cup of 10ml. First add a cup of 10ml previously boiled and cool water, close cap and shake vigorously. After this once again add another cup of 10ml of previousl boiled and cool water, recap the bottle and again shake bottle vigorously for final preparation of suspension for use. Take immediately after preparation in a single dose.

PRECAUTIONS:
Avoid alcohol during treatment. Do not associate with disulfiram. Avoid during first trimester of pregnancy. Do not administer to subjects with history of  blood  dyscrasia.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Store below 30  ံC . Protect from heat, light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children . Shake well before use.
