HOW TO MAKE TOPICAL EYE DROPS, SUBCONJUNCTIVAL & INTRAVITREAL INJECTION

1.  Preparation of Fortifled Eye Drops:

Remove 2 ml from 10 ml Ophth-Lubric bottle (2% Hypertonic Saline Solution)
to the remaining 8 ml solution add 2 ml of Amisul Injection (50 mg/ml Amikacin)
and shake well. Final concentration is 10 mg/ml Amikacin.

1.  Preparation of Subconjunctival Injection:

Use Amisul Injection (50 mg/ml Amikacin)
Final Dosage = 25  -  50 mg

1.  Preparation of Intravitreal Injection:

Dose 0.4 mg in 0.1 ml
With draw 0.8 ml of Amisul (50 mg/ml Amikacin) by 1 ml syringe and add t0 9.2 ml of normal saline or BSS. With draw from it 0.1 ml, which contains: 0.4 mg Amikacin.

Presentation
AMISUL is supplied in a vial as 100 mg per 2ml and 500 mg per 2ml coloriess to straw colored sterile solution.
